Natural Deodorant – so cheap and easy, make it at home!

I’ve been trying many different natural deodorants for the past several weeks, but I’ve never been 100% satisfied with any of them.

I’m not an overly sweaty person, but like most normal people, if I don’t do something, I will start to sweat and smell. I wanted to test out this new concoction for a few days before I posted it up here, and I’m very excited that I finally found a natural, easy, homemade deodorant that really works!

Apple Cider Vinegar

Baking Soda

1. Take a cotton pad (like the one you use to apply toner or remove makeup)

2. Shake some baking soda on the pad

3. Pour some apple cider vinegar on top of the baking soda (I use ACV mixed with water. I already have it ready in a bottle because I use that as a toner. I wing it, but approx. 1/3 ACV to 2/3 water)

4. Watch it fizz!

5. Spread on your armpits

And you’re done!

Surprisingly, the baking soda seems to hide to ACV smell pretty well, but it doesn’t leave you smelling GOOD, just neutral. So to smell nice, I sometimes like to spray a bit of rose water.

It seriously lasts all day. I just did a sniff test and I swear there is no scent at all! And I applied it over 5 hours ago. FYI: I haven’t done any physical activity today, so I’m not sure how well it would hold up if you’re running around.
