My cousin made hotdogs and they smelled amazing.
But hotdogs gross me out more than any other meat. As soon as I found out what they’re made of, I gave them up (this was pre-vegetarian). I seriously can’t remember the last time I had a hotdog.
So back to my cousins hotdogs. I quickly realized that the tantalizing scent was, in fact, the seasonings and not the meat. I have no desire whatsoever to eat meat, but I do miss the way it’s flavoured. Know what I mean? I have yet to learn how to flavour my own tofu/anything else in any intricate way, so I definitely miss complex seasonings. Any tips/recipes?
I was sad to find that I had already polished off my last Tofurky sausage, which definitely hits the spot when meat cravings hit. Bah.
